“When you smile, for me, it represents gratitude. It represents that I’m alive. I celebrate the fact that I’m alive. You know, what a concept to celebrate the fact that you have another day of your life which is the greatest gift you can ask for.

Another day to create whatever it is you want. Another day to pursue your goals, your dreams. Another day to experience life to the fullest and to experience all the gifts and joys life has to offer.”

  1. The granddaddy of all self-help books and one of the all-time best-sellers is Dale Carnegie’s How to Win Friends and Influence People. Carnegie wrote it in the 1930s (in depths of The Great Depression) to aid salesman but also to lift the spirits of anyone who was looking to change jobs or change their lives for the better. This book is available in almost every language and is never out of print. Carnegie’s tips are practical and effective.

Carnegie’s number one tip is – SMILE.
