You’re absolutely right. The biggest challenge a photographer face. To recreate what your eye sees. That’s what it is supposed to be. To create original art that is an extension of you as a person. To show people how you see the world. That’s what makes it so beautiful.
I’ve started taking my Nikon with me. The good thing is it’s an entry-level version (D3300), so if it gets damaged of stolen, I’m not out of a fortune.

As with writing, it’s so hard to capture what the mind sees. I rely on my smart phone, but I know what a difference lenses and a fine camera can make.

That’s the problem with owning a very expensive camera. It’s EXPENSIVE. Luckily it can be insured. Which is a must.
